This Fine or Population Lavender absolute is from the Southern Provence of France. This product is different to Lavender Provence essential oil because it's extracted by the solvent extraction process instead of traditional steam distillation process, so it is not an essential oil but it's an absolute. The aroma of this lavender absolute is much better than lavender essential oil as it has the scent exactly the same as lavender flowers, just like you're standing in the lavender field. This absolute is suitable for making perfume of lavender instead of making skincare products.
