May Chang or called "Litsea Cubeba" is native to China. The lemon-scented oil is extracted from the fruits and very rich in citral with some linalol. Litsea cubeba is valuable in skin care as it is non-irritant, very antiseptic and effective in treating oily skin, acne and spots with no risk of phtosensitivity, it's widely used as a replacement of citrus oils in facial application. It reduces excessive perspiration and it's refreshing scent can be used as a very good deodorant. Being antiseptic and deodorising, May Chang is very suitable to use as an air-refreshers.
