Elemi is a tropical tree native to the Phillipines. The essential oil extracted by steam distillation of the resin that exudes from the tree just like Frankincense or Myrrh, yellowish clear color with a very pleasant aroma, effective for all chest infections, catarrh and sinusitis. It's also an excellent skin-care oil with rejuvenating effect and reduce wrinkles. The oil has an action on the emotional and spiritual planes. It's a harmonising oil, bringing mind, body and spirit into alighment with each other. The wonderful oil to burn during meditation when use with Frankincense.
